THE IMPROBABLE CAT By Allan Ahlberg. 128 pp. Puffin. £5.99. (Ages 8 and up) ISBN 9780141314907 Rating: 3.5 Stars This is quite a good book, because it haunts you a bit. It's about a boy, who's family one day see a limping grey kitten on there doorstep so they took it in put it on the couch then started to stroke it like anyone would do to a kitten. However, the cat was hypnotizing them and in a week it was twice it's size. I think that if you really like cat's that you should not read this book because the cat is bad. I would only recommend it if you have another book with you or are only reading for a short time. If I put this book out of five I'd definitely say 3 1/2 .
